Danielle Anderson
About
Meet Dani Anderson, a therapist with a passion for helping people rewrite their stories—even the messy, complicated ones. She's a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist and an EMDR Consultant in Training, proudly holding an Advanced Certificate in Complex Trauma and Dissociation from the ISSTD (International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation).
Dani is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor through the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. With over 15 years of experience in settings as diverse as outpatient clinics, residential programs, and forensic venues, she has navigated many things and learned a lot from the courageous therapy participants she has worked with.
Her superpowers? Working with adults facing challenges like abuse and neglect, PTSD, addictions, attachment issues, chronic illness, depression, dissociation, grief, and even topics as niche as emergency responders, problematic sexual behaviors, and personality disorders. She’s also deeply experienced in working with people that have sexually offended as they navigate accountability, healing, and reintegration—approaching the work with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to meaningful growth.
Dani’s approach is about balancing compassion with accountability, helping therapy participants find their way to safer, more meaningful lives. Whether it’s building resilience, making peace with the past, or simply rediscovering joy in the everyday, Dani believes everyone can chart a path toward connection, healing, and fulfillment—and she's here to help navigate the journey.
