Liam received his Doctoral and other degrees in Psychology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. He has been providing treatment and conducting research on sexual offenders and offenders with mental health issues for more than 30 years. Liam has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and is co-author/co-editor of four books. He is a board member and reviewer for many international journals, and has made numerous international conference presentations on offender and mental health issues. He has provided consultation to governments and delivered trainings for therapists and staff working with offenders in 30 countries. Liam is a Fellow of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA). He recently retired from his position as a researcher and clinician at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. Liam is currently the Director of Rockwood Psychotherapy & Consulting and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
