Clinical Director of Adult Sex Offender (ASO) Treatment Program
Fully Remote | Independent Contractor | Office Located in Georgia
Medlin Treatment Center (MTC) is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and technology-savvy Clinical Director of our Adult Sex Offender (ASO) Treatment Program.
This is a remote independent contractor opportunity for a fully licensed, experienced clinician who has specialized experience treating adults who have engaged in sexually inappropriate or offending behaviors and is interested in taking on a leadership role within a well-established ASO treatment program. The candidate is able to come into the office located in Marietta, GA if preferred.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, experience with risk assessment and treatment planning, and the ability to effectively coordinate clinical services, communicate with probation and parole professionals, and support the overall operation of the ASO team.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy to adult clients participating in the ASO Treatment Program
- Serve as the administrative and clinical leader for the ASO treatment team
- Coordinate treatment activities and maintain organized, timely clinical documentation
- Conduct and document risk assessments and treatment planning
- Communicate professionally with probation and parole officers and other involved professionals
- Coordinate with referral sources and other members of a client's treatment team
- Monitor client participation, attendance, treatment progress, and compliance with program requirements
- Participate in case consultation and treatment planning
- Provide weekly clinical supervision to one or more therapists in the program
- Assist with psychosexual evaluations and related forensic services as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of required documentation
- Utilize technology and telehealth platforms effectively for remote service delivery
- Help maintain consistent clinical standards, procedures, and expectations across the ASO program
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coordination for clinicians participating in the ASO program
- Communicate effectively with clinicians, administrative staff, clients, probation/parole professionals, and other outside professionals
Qualifications & Required Experience
- LPC or LCSW: Must hold an active, unrestricted license in the state of Georgia
- Psychologists: Must hold an appropriate psychology license and may qualify to provide services in Georgia through PSYPACT; a separate Georgia psychology license is not required when practicing under applicable PSYPACT authorization
- Experience providing adult sex offender treatment
- Experience providing both individual and group therapy
- Experience working with clients who are on probation and/or parole
- Experience communicating and collaborating with probation and parole officers
- Demonstrated experience with risk assessment and treatment planning
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong technology skills and ability to learn and use electronic health record and practice management systems
- Comfortable providing services through telehealth platforms
- Experience conducting or assisting with psychosexual evaluations
Preferred Experience
Training and/or experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Treatment of sexual trauma
- Treatment of problematic or compulsive sexual behaviors
- Forensic behavioral health
- Psychosexual evaluations
- Risk assessment and treatment planning
- Collaboration with courts, probation, parole, attorneys, and other forensic professionals

MTC provides the infrastructure and administrative support necessary for clinicians to focus on clinical care rather than running the business side of their practice.
Our administrative team assists with:
- Client referrals and intake
- Scheduling and appointment coordination
- Insurance credentialing and payer-related processes
- Billing and claims management
- Client communication and administrative follow-up
- Electronic health record and practice management software
- Telehealth technology and platforms
- General administrative support related to the ASO program
This allows the Clinical Director and program clinicians to focus their time and expertise on clinical treatment, risk assessment, treatment planning, and program development rather than administrative tasks that can otherwise take time away from patient care.

Medlin Treatment Center is an established outpatient behavioral health practice providing general mental health treatment as well as specialized services in sexual trauma, sexual behavior problems, adult sex offender treatment, and forensic behavioral health since 1997.
Our ASO program provides structured, specialized treatment for adults involved with the criminal justice system and emphasizes professional collaboration, accountability, clinical intervention, risk management, and individualized treatment planning.
